Slide the new blade on until it clicks or the tab locks. Tug once along the arm — it should not walk off. Lower the arm gently onto the glass; do not drop it from 30 cm. Repeat the other side. Sizes are often different left and right; the longer blade is usually the driver side on LHD cars, but not always. Match what you measured.
Start the car. Washer stalk: a few sprays, then a slow wipe. You want a clear fan of water and a glass that does not arc grease. If the new blade skips, the glass still has wax — clean again. If it only smears at the top 5 cm, the arm might be bent; a shop can tweak it. Park the wipers in the down position before you walk away.
