Wrist extension — prayer stretch and reverse prayer
Wrist extension — prayer stretch and reverse prayer — step 7 of 9 in Stretch Routine You Can Do at a Desk. Press palms together in front of your chest, fingers up (prayer position).

Free health & fitness tip: Wrist extension — prayer stretch and reverse prayer (step 7 of 9 from "Stretch Routine You Can Do at a Desk").
Press palms together in front of your chest, fingers up (prayer position). Lower your hands toward your waist while keeping palms together until you feel a stretch in the inner wrists and forearms. Hold 30 seconds.
Then flip: backs of hands together, fingers pointing down, raise elbows until you feel the stretch on the top of the forearm. Hold 30 seconds. These counter the sustained wrist extension and gripping from mouse and keyboard use.
Pro tip: If you get wrist pain that does not improve with stretching, that is a physio visit, not more stretching.
