Stand facing your chair. Place one heel on the seat, leg straight, toes up. Hinge forward from the hips with a flat back until you feel tension behind the thigh. Hold 30 seconds. Switch. Do not round your spine to get lower — the stretch comes from the hip hinge, not from curling.
If the chair rolls, push it against the desk first. A slipping chair is how you pull a hamstring instead of stretching one.
