Free health & fitness tip: Seated hip flexor opener — rear foot behind the chair (step 5 of 9 from "Stretch Routine You Can Do at a Desk").
Sit near the front edge of your chair. Slide your right foot back until the knee is behind your hip. Tuck your tailbone slightly (posterior pelvic tilt). You should feel a pull across the front of the right hip. Hold 30 seconds. Switch legs.
This works because the hip flexor crosses the hip joint — when the thigh goes behind the torso, the muscle lengthens. The tuck prevents your low back from arching to compensate, which would steal the stretch from the hip.
