Free cleaning & laundry tip: Iron the back panel (step 8 of 9 from "Iron a Dress Shirt in 4 Minutes").

Slide the shirt so the back panel lies flat on the board. You may need to do this in two halves depending on the board width. Press from the yoke down to the hem in smooth strokes. If the shirt has a center back pleat, iron on either side of the pleat but don't flatten it — the pleat is there for movement.

Give the entire shirt one final once-over: check the collar points, cuffs, and front placket for any remaining wrinkles. A quick burst of steam on any holdout creases and a light press finishes the job.

Pro tip: If the back has a box pleat, iron each side of it separately. Flattening a pleat defeats its purpose and makes the shirt pull when you move.
